Mac OSX ACM Movie Player Widget | click to download
The ACM Movie Player is a widget written for Mac OSX. It's updated about every two to three weeks (or whenever I get a chance, frankly). It contains ten movies and two serial episodes, and it's great for watching movies at work.
The current version is 3.0 updated June 3, 2007

Homefront is a video player that features a dozen feature films, cartoons and shorts produced during the second World War. If you grew up the way I did, when you think of WWII movies you think of "The Sands of Iwo Jima," or "The Longest Day." The Homefront films are different. For the most part, all of the films have a single, consistent message of hard work and determination. The war was not something that was going to be won because the American people were more righteous or religious, or simply because they were Americans. The war was going to be won if, and only if, Americans worked harder, produced more, conserved more, and showed more determination than their enemy. A lesson that seems to have been lost over the last 60+ years, and one we would do well to consider again.

I'm hoping to make a lot more of these in the future. Let me know what you think. scottsaunders@mac.com.
